Colossians 3:17   And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.

Beyond Relief trade school was founded to give Haitians the skills to work and provide for themselves and their families.  The most important goal for the school, though, is to glorify God and help students, staff, and the surrounding community learn more about God and have a personal relationship with Jesus.

One of the key people on the staff is pastor Alvince Descorias Charles. He works part-time for Beyond Relief and has been the full-time pastor for the Nazarene church in Saint Louis du Nord for more than 35 years. He is married and has 9 children.

Pastor Alvince comes to the school on a regular basis to give Bible lessons in each of the classes.  He is also around to listen to problems, give counsel, and pray with anyone who needs it.  We are very thankful to him for helping those in Haiti to see that what Beyond Relief does is for the glory of God, and so that they may see God’s love for each of them.

We are deeply grateful for your continued support and belief in our mission. Together, we are building a stronger, more compassionate community. Your partnership helps turn compassion into action. Thank you for standing with us and believing in the work we do.

Doing it all in the name of Lord Jesus
